Major National Science and Technology Projects - 3500T Precision Horizontal Real-time Controlling Die Casting Machine prototype has been completed

Led by FAW Foundry Co.,Ltd, the National S&T Major Project-3500T Precision Horizontal Real-time Control Die Casting Machine and complete equipment undertaken by Suzhou Sanji Foundry Equipment Co., Ltd,  Tsinghua University, Xi’an Jiaotong University and Mechanical Science Research Institute has completed the manufacture of the main machine after nearly one year’s operation, which marks a stage achievement has been acquired. To celebrate the successful stage achievement and check on the mid-term work process, “National S&T Major Project-3500T Precision Horizontal Real-time Control Die Casting Machine Cold Start Ceremony and Project mid-term check report” was held on 19 Nov 2011 in the R&D base of the main machine – Suzhou Sanji Foundry Equipment Co.,Ltd.

This meeting got highly attention and great support from leaders at all level, the leaders and experts attending the meeting included: Academician Bingheng Lu, the chief engineer of National S&T Major Project Overall Group; Mr. Lei Han, vice secretary-general of SAE-CHINA; Mr. Haizhu Zhang, Deputy Director of National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology “04” Major Project; Mr. Changnian Chen, Consultant of Machenical Science Research Institute; Sihong Wan, Deputy Officer of Suzhou Economy & Information Technology Commission; Jianyou Han, Professor of USTB; Zhaoyi Xu of Wuzhong District Economy & Information Technology Bureau and the major leaders and experts of the project team. The general manager of FAW Foundry Co., Ltd, Mr. Feng, Sun and the leaders of FAW Group Planning Department also attended this ceremony.

On the Cold Start Ceremony, all leaders made statements, they fully affirmed the efforts and achievement made by the project team, and encouraged the members of the project team to make persistence effort, keep improving and achieve the final success of the National Major Project.
